1920s Glamour Meets Tropical Minimalism: A West Palm Beach Garden Transformed
Residence, West Palm Beach, FL
We focused on light‑colored surfaces for the new pool, driveway, and entry paving, selecting natural stone and pressed‑shell pavers that complement the restored stucco of the 1920s home. Privacy and simplicity were key client requests, so we used vertical Royal Palms and Giant Bird‑of‑Paradise to delineate and screen the major outdoor rooms, creating a sense of calm enclosure.
We re‑thought the entrance sequence and courtyard garden and completely re‑envisioned the pool and new pool‑house terraces to form a series of green, serene spaces for the client. A tiled outdoor kitchen and dining area extend the home’s architecture into the landscape, creating a seamless indoor/outdoor flow.
Bold Philodendrons and Bird‑of‑Paradise provide sculptural screening around the pool, softened by accents of Bougainvillea, African Iris, and Silver Bromeliad. The result is a bright, contemporary tropical garden that feels both private and effortless—an elegant evolution of a classic Palm Beach property.
