We focused on light colored surfaces for the new pool, driveway and entry paving and selected natural stone and pressed shell pavers to complement the 1920's home's restored stucco surfaces. Privacy and simplicity were key client requests for the landscape, so we used vertical Royal Palms and Giant Bird of Paradise to delineate and screen the spaces. We re-thought the entrance and courtyard garden and totally re-envisioned the pool and new pool house terraces to create green, serene spaces for the client with a tiled outdoor kitchen and dining area. Bold Philodendrons and Bird-of-Paradise screen the pool area with softening accents of Bougainvillea, African Iris and Silver Bromeliad.
